Improving the efficiency of high-voltage pumping stations based on frequency converters

Abstract

Relevance: optimal control of pumping stations, changing the angle of inclination of moving parts in furnaces, improving process flow charts and methods of joint operation of two or more centrifugal pumps when the water level changes, determining energy indicators.


Aim:  to develop schemes for parallel, sequential and joint operation of pumping devices, group control of interconnected pumps, elimination of hydraulic anomalies in the pump-pipe system, study measures to improve the efficiency and reliability of pumping stations.


Methods:  methods and principles of automatic control of the frequency-controlled electric drive system of the melioration pumping unit, as well as energy-saving operating modes are used.


Results: increasing the energy efficiency of the technological process of water supply by melioration pumping stations by using frequency regulation of electric pump drives and energy-saving modes. An analysis of electrical control circuits for electric wires, as well as circuits of high-voltage substations, was made.
